About Our Art
Where does Bless'er Art find its artwork?
Our favorite pastime just happens to be treasure hunting through museum and library archives around the world.
Many of the pieces in our collection are works that have entered the public domain and have been preserved and digitized by museums, libraries, and other archives. Some are recognizable masterpieces, while others are beautiful works that have rarely been seen outside of an archive.
We carefully curate our favorites, digitally clean and restore them when needed, and reformat them so these centuries-old treasures can find new life in today's homes.
Is the artwork original?
The artwork in our archival collections was originally created by artists from generations past. Many of the original works now belong to museums, libraries, and private collections around the world.
Bless'er Art does not sell original paintings. We create professionally printed reproductions of carefully curated artwork. But none of our artwork is ever created by AI... we believe in the importance of art made by human hands.
Why do some prints have imperfections or texture?
That's part of their charm!
Because many of our pieces originated as paintings, drawings, or illustrations created decades or even centuries ago, you may notice brushstrokes, paper texture, canvas texture, fading, grain, patina, or other subtle imperfections within the image.
We digitally restore our artwork with care, but we never want to erase all of the beautiful evidence of its age. Those little details are part of the story.
Prints & Canvases
What kind of paper do you use?
Our art prints are professionally printed on thick, 189 gsm museum-quality matte paper.
The matte finish minimizes glare while allowing the colors, details, and character of the original artwork to shine.
Do your prints come framed?
Our art prints arrive unframed so you can choose a frame that fits your home, style, and budget.
One of our favorite tricks is pairing beautiful archival artwork with thrifted, vintage, or affordable ready-made frames for a collected-over-time look. Seriously, some of the best frames we've ever found came from a thrift store. We'd rather avoid waste and promote secondhand shopping that keeps frames out of our landfills and trees in our forests. Â
What are your canvases made from?
Our canvases are printed on a textured, fade-resistant cotton-polyester canvas that is acid-free, pH-neutral, and OBA-free.
Each canvas is hand-stretched over solid wood stretcher bars with a 1.25-inch deep profile and includes mounting hardware.
Do canvases come framed?
Our standard canvases arrive stretched and ready to hang but do not include a decorative outer frame.
They look beautiful hung as-is, or you can add your own canvas frame for an even more traditional, collected look.
What size should I order?
That depends on where your art is going!
We offer a variety of sizes so you can choose everything from a small print for a bookshelf or gallery wall to oversized artwork that can become the focal point of a room.
Helpful tip: Before ordering, use painter's tape to mark the dimensions of your desired print on the wall. It's an easy way to visualize the scale before committing to a size.
Will the colors look exactly like they do on my screen?
We do our best to represent each piece as accurately as possible, but colors can vary slightly between screens and the finished printed product due to differences in monitor, phone, and tablet settings.
And remember, many of these pieces are old! Subtle variations, muted colors, patina, grain, and other characteristics are often intentionally preserved because they're part of what makes archival art so beautiful.
Ordering
Is my artwork made to order?
Yes! Every Bless'er Art print and canvas is made especially for you after you place your order.
Rather than keeping warehouses filled with mass-produced art, your selected piece is professionally printed on demand and prepared for shipment.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Because every piece is made to order and production may begin shortly after your purchase is placed, we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled once it has been submitted.
If you notice a mistake in your order, please contact us as quickly as possible and we'll do our best to help.
Can I change the shipping address after ordering?
Please double-check your shipping information before submitting your order.
If you realize you've entered an incorrect address, contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has entered fulfillment or shipped, we may not be able to change its destination.
Shipping
How long will my order take to arrive?
Every Bless'er Art piece is made to order, so please allow time for both production and shipping.
You'll receive tracking information once your order has shipped so you can follow your artwork on its way home.
For current processing and delivery information, please visit our Shipping & Handling page.
How will my art be packaged?
Packaging varies based on the size and type of artwork ordered.
Paper prints may ship in protective stay-flat packaging or sturdy triangular kraft boxes depending on their size, while canvases are securely packaged in protective cardboard boxes.
Why did only part of my order arrive?
Don't panic, your other art may still be on the way!
Because products may be fulfilled separately, items from the same order can occasionally arrive in more than one shipment. If this happens, you'll receive tracking information for the individual packages when available.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship Bless'er Art prints and canvases to most countries around the world.
International shipping availability and delivery times vary by destination, and occasional shipping restrictions may apply. If we're unable to ship to your location, you'll be notified during the ordering process.
Please keep in mind that international orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other fees determined by your destination country. These charges are not included in your order total and, when applicable, are the responsibility of the recipient.
International orders can also take a little longer to make their journey home, so please allow additional time for delivery.
Returns, Damage & Order Issues
What if my art arrives damaged?
Oh no! We definitely don't want that.
If your artwork arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective, please contact us as soon as possible and include your order number and clear photos showing the entire damaged item and the problem.
We'll review the issue and work to make it right.
Please see our Return & Refund Policy for complete details and claim deadlines.
Can I return or exchange my art if I change my mind?
Because each Bless'er Art piece is printed specifically for you when you order it, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for buyer's remorse, incorrectly ordered sizes, or other change-of-mind purchases.
Please double-check your artwork, size, and shipping information before placing your order.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, that's a different story! Please contact us so we can help.
What if I ordered the wrong size?
Unfortunately, because your artwork is made specifically for your order, we cannot exchange prints or canvases when the incorrect size is ordered.
We highly recommend measuring your space and your frame, if you already own one, before ordering.
